What we do

​Teresa Ministries is home to various activities and classes designed to not only take care of the needy children but to also improve our spiritual, physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Under Teresa House, a number of activities thrive with in the same neighborhood which include but not limited to Teresa Child Care and Teresa babies’ homes. 

Teresa Children’s Home –

We run a children’s home (orphanage) with all the facilities an infant would need for a decent life and early childhood growth and development. Teresa babies home admits babies as young as 1day – 3yrs. As earlier introduced, these are babies abandoned and picked up by good Samaritans, the Police and Local Councils and brought to us to look after.
All this is free service with no help from government or local councils.

Teresa Child Care –

We identify and vet children within the community from families that have been affected by HIV/AIDS and absolute poverty who we enrolled in school to at least enjoy basic primary education.
We partner with a number of schools in the community where these children study. Not only do we take care of the children but also help their families with the basic needs of life at no cost.

Spiritual Counseling –

The face to face bible-based counseling sessions conducted by Rev. Fr. Raymond Kalanzi provide a setting for people to explore their spirituality in a practical, community and family atmosphere.​
Counseling is free and doesn’t discriminate against sex, race, religion or status.

Music Ministry –

We have a number of Praise & Worship youth groups which include Charisma, Cherubim Music Ministry, Corinthians, Seraphim and Kenosis. These are youths who choose to serve and preach the gospel pro bono.
Many are available for hire for all your church functions and some have separate band groups for all your secular functions.

Effect of Covid-19 pandemic

Visits to our babies’ homes have resumed after a long lockdown that saw a huge drop in donations (funds and supplies). Please keep the donations flowing to enable us keep these little soul’s hopes high and a promise of a good future which starts with today’s meal and health care.
