Teresa Ministries is a fully registered NGO with a license to run child care homes.
We are a non for profit organization whose operations are majorly funded by well wishers from the Ugandan community and a few from the diaspora. We welcome more people to donate to our cause.
Our headquarters are at Najjanankumbi, Nyanama Piida opposite Freedom City in Rubaga Division, Kampala District.
We are inspired by the works of Mother Teresa of Calcutta to offer whole hearted and sustainable service to the poorest of poor.
We aim at helping vulnerable children who have the potential of reintegrating themselves back to their families and the society if only given good care and support through Education and values formation.
Many of these children are from families that have been affected by HIV/AIDS and absolute poverty and Teresa Ministries has focused on self-sustaining agricultural ventures like Livestock, poultry and vegetable urban farming.
All these initiatives are supported by local citizens of Uganda. The registered co-workers are the visible channel of support from all over the country.

Our Mission
To offer free and wholehearted service to the poorest of the poor according to the spirituality of Mother Teresa.
Service is our Core Value
Whole-hearted service: Our services come from a heart full of love for Jesus and His poor ones.
Service with love:
We render both spiritual and corporal works of mercy to the Poorest of the poor. We look for those that are materially and spiritually lacking and are in great need of God’s love and affection.
Free service:
We offer free service to the underprivileged children. We have a Teresa babies’ home that admits infants from as low as 1day to 5 years and a Teresa Child Care programme that educates less privileged children from the communities around us.
Where are our children from?
The children we get are usually abandoned and saved by good Samaritans, the Police and Local leaders in and around Kampala.
Teresa Child Care focuses on less privileged children of 6 – 10years from the communities around us who stay home with their parents.
We offer school fees and life’s basic needs to their needy parents.
We provide a transitional co-parenting environment of love, care and safety for these vulnerable children.
We ask for your kind donation as we help these needy little souls.
